Ethical policy

Rather than churn out fast fashion to make a quick buck, our merch represents the values that Novara Media was built upon: a commitment to social change, the liberation of workers and prioritising climate justice.

Our products are manufactured in safe working conditions by workers who are paid properly for their labour. We make sure that our suppliers use recycled materials wherever possible, and have explicit policies to limit their waste. Plus we make sure everything is great quality so it will stand the test of time.

We pledge to:

  • Make affordable, inclusive and sustainable clothing
  • Make long lasting, environmentally friendly products
  • Only use recycled or recyclable materials wherever possible
  • Make all of our products in factories that are unionised or modelled on supporting their workers

Our clothing proudly comes from sellers who are members of the Fair Wear Foundation, an initiative advancing workers’ rights across global supply chains. Find out more about Fair Wear and all of their incredible work here.

We thoroughly audit every supplier we use to ensure they:

  • Share our commitment to fair working conditions and fair pay for workers
  • Use recycled materials wherever possible
  • Have explicit policies in place to limit their waste
